well all planes will fly hands off if you let them and gliders dont being manipulated in flight they loose ro much altitude i been flying gliders 4 14 yrs and it being styro foam its light enough to fly in any dead situation and any plane will thermal if you set it up to my tower trainer will thermal in the lightest lift
